Landscapes & Peaks

Big‑view riding across Alicante’s interior—rolling valleys, high plateaus, and peak lookouts that invite unhurried photo stops. Curated by IMRG Alicante, Route B is a 140 km, ~3 h inland loop that balances flow and scenery through heritage towns and relaxed plazas for lunch. Highlights include Busot’s Canelobre Caves viewpoint, Xixona (turrón town), Torremanzanas balcony roads, Port de Benifallim, Alcoy’s bridges, Font Roja sanctuary, Castalla Castle, Xorret de Catí, and the Tibi reservoir. GPX + stop list provided at briefing.

Practical notes

  • Surfaces and weather vary with altitude; shaded corners can hold moisture
  • Check tyre pressures before departure; pack light layers and a compact rain shell
  • Expect cyclists and occasional livestock on mountain sections—ride predictively
  • Fuel up before roll‑out; services thin out on the high roads
  • Full GPX, turn‑by‑turn notes, and the recommended stop list are provided at the morning briefing
  • Familiarise yourself with the IBEX26 group ride rules and on-road safety protocol before departure.
